Sustainability matters in hospitality

Now more than ever, the hospitality industry has more choice when it comes to eco-friendly food and takeaway packaging. It’s time to get to grips with becoming eco-friendlier, and reducing your carbon footprint. Australians are getting the hang of bringing their own cup for their morning latte, and remembering their bag for the grocery shopping; but is the hospitality industry doing enough to reuse, recycle, and deliver a compostable option on packaging? In a bold move, the Australian Government will ensure that all packaging will be re-usable or recyclable into other purposes by 2025. That means 100% of Australia’s packaging will be compostable, recyclable or reusable. Yes 100%.
