Whether it's an executive chef, head chef, catering staff or kitchen porter, I Need A Chef offers a unique try-before-you-buy system for permanent staff.

We know that sometimes an applicant isn’t always a perfect fit for your kitchen, which is why all of our permanent staff are initially offered on a contract basis.

This gives you the opportunity to trial our applicant on a temporary basis (i.e. employed by I Need A Chef).

Thanks to this system, you can trial new staff completely risk-free - if you feel things aren’t working out, you’re free to walk away, no harm no foul.

How does it work?

When a vacant position arises, we'll display your ad on our nationwide jobs board free of charge. In addition to Internet advertising, we'll undertake specific searches from our extensive database to filter and target the right candidates for your needs.

All prospective candidates are required to complete our own rigorous interview with an interviewer who has plenty of their own hospitality experience, and undergo a thorough reference checking process before they're put forward.
