We have a rare opportunity for a hungry and professional chef to join the team at this ionic Beaumaris venue. Serving up top quality food with funky flair this established business has been on the scene for over 6 years. The menu  predominately follows the notion of good honest food, big on flavor and fun to share. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic chef to take the next step in their career.

As the successful candidate, you will need to be able to demonstrate your experience in basic kitchen management, conceptualising and standardizing menus for the bar/restaurant and function packages. This role will also include the training of staff to the high standards required to ensure this fast-paced kitchen runs at a smooth pace. To be a great leader requires more than being a solid chef or cook.

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate,

  • Applicable trade qualifications and accreditation’s
  • Previous experience as a  Sous or Head Chef preferably within both a la carte environment
  • Creativity and knowledge of current food trends
  • A passion for food, and desire to consistently improve
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage ordering, including stock levels, budgets and suppliers
  • Proficiency in all aspects of food safety, including HACCAP and Food Safety Supervisor
  • Experience managing a team, including good leadership skills
  • Positive communication skills, energy and attitude
