Chef De Partie – Helensvale

Job Overview

Our client a well-known venue located in Helensvale are looking for a superstar Chef De Partie to join their ranks. With Multiple outlets including a café, sports bar, large bistro and Function space, this venue is a favourite amongst locals and tourists alike. Offering a delicious bistro menu including a selection of salads, Pastas and char-grilled meats this venue is always buzzing.  This is a great opportunity for a passionate Chef De Partie who is looking for a more senior role within the kitchen and can utilise their experience from both an a la carte and function perspective

Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. You will be required to supervise the kitchen brigade and be a team player in absence of the head  and willing to train and develop your staff. There may be an opportunity to work with the Head Chef to further develop the menu so a knowledge and passion for food and food trends would be advantageous.


As the successful candidate you will demonstrate:


  • Applicable trade qualifications and accreditation’s
  • Minimum 5 years’ kitchen experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ in a similar roll
  • Ability to plate up high quality, creative food
  • Previous experience managing food costs and ordering
  • Previous experience leading a team is advantageous
  • Proficiency in all aspects of food safety, including HACCAP
  • Positive communication skills, energy and team player attitude
